The concept is simple:

Wishing Star provides an online exhibition and/or shop space for talented artists, designers, makers selling handmade goods, entrepreneurs and independent boutiques.

We know how hard it can be to promote your work and get yourself out there, especially for emerging artists and artisans.  Wishing Star provides a cost effective solution to promoting your work and products, while showcasing those items in a professional way to your audience. The idea is that the high level of traffic to the site will bring you and other exhibitors increased traffic and hopefully, increased sales as well.

Why join?

• A Full page with all your contact details, description of business / product, logo and +- 10 pictures with a link to your website or a online shop space.

*  We will update your information on our site as often as necessary, at no additional cost.

*  An online shop feature where customers can buy directly from the website or products are linked back to each exhibitor's online store where these available works can be purchased.

*  You will receive an email within 24 hours after the order was received and you can then dispatch directly to your customer(lead times will be indicated by you).

*  Weekly payments of all monies generated by sales

• *  Your page has its own Meta Tag, which means that your business can be better indexed by and found through search engines.
• • * We send out a monthly newsletter to our customers with the latest advertising news, special offers, competitions, events etc. (+-6000)
  • * You can join our Facebook customers and chat to them about your business
  • * Monthly newsletter to all our crafters with the latest markets and events in South Africa
  • *  Tips on how to increase your turnover and business.
  • *  Monthly ads place in several online communities and blogs and printed media.

Fees?

We are offering two options:

Option 1: 

Listing your products at retail price and Wishing Star retains a profit of 30%. 

Option 2:

Paying a flat rate of R100.00 a month and Wishing Star pays out 100% of your sale price.

These fees  helps to pay for advertising Wishing Star. (in turn driving more traffic to the site and to your products).
